December Blog Hop:

I made two cards for this Hop, I think I like this one best. I used the same sets as the other one, just rearranged them a little and added a bow from my stash.

I love the chalkboard look, I used  the Happy Holiday from the Christmas Cheer set.

I also used the floser from cup of Cheer and holly from Holly Jolly. The rest is from my stash.

I used PTI Vintage Linens stamp set and the sentiment from Birthday Cheer. I had to add a little glitter as it appeared to plain for me :-)

PTI Make It Monday: Pearlized Blending

I used the new PTI Joyful Christmas and different greens from the distress inks, then the perfect pearls. I used silver to emboss the bases and stars.

October 2015  PTI Blog Hop

I used the new Spruce & Sprigs stamp set and put the dies in the pint size Friendship Jar. I used some checked duck tape to cover the jar first (reminded me of MacKenzie Childs.  So much fun.

Well here is my stash. It was a long and Wonderful day of creativity and I loved it. I sure slept well. The only thing that suffered was my fit bit- (very few steps).

For Melissa's Stick Pins I used the Tag Sale #9 with the new Pumpkin Patch Stamp Set. I colored my ribbon with Copics and drew BOO on the tag.

Well Polly and I went together and bought many items but I chose the orange sand paper for the Enclosed Leaf set. The veins are cut from an orange paint swatch and I nested the on a piece if screen repair. It was a fun project and with wine it's looking pretty good.

Well I used several colors  which I don't use and I think it's a rainbow. Beautiful Blooms and leaves from Vintage Linens. The sentiment is from the Stamp-a-faire kit.

Starting out with all the supplies....  OMG what a mess already!

Using the Fashion Sense stamp I cut lots of layers for her skirt and puffed them out by just gluing the waist.

Make it Monday: Die Cut Mini Notebook

Oh I loved Melissa's choice of colors...so I used the Vintage Linen paper also and the Beautiful Blooms dies with paper and felt. The sentiment is from Flower Fusion #10.

Day 4 of Background Techniques:

I used Kristina's border die technique using several shapes, then colored the edges with distress inks.

The flower is from Vintage Linens PTI. I thought it should be simple with such a busy background.

Make It Monday: Creating Your Own Custom Borders

Creating custom borders is so much fun. I chose the till Life Make It Market Kit fruit. Those limes and lemons or oranges were a perfect fit. The sentiment is also from that kit.

I don't have many so I chose the same one Laura used - In the Woods. I also used the Zig Clear Color Watercolor pens and highlighted with Ripe Avocado ink.

PTI Blog Hop June 2015

The inspiration was darling - I wish I had a pair of those for my daughter. I used the Horizontal Stripes cover plate along with a Mega Stack #4 and a few flowers from Flower Fusions. The sentiment is from Think Big Favorites #1. 

Make It Monday: Cool Condensation Effects

 

Betsy used one of my favorite stamps The Friendship Jar Stamp and it really looks like it has condensation on the outside. I used Beautiful Brushstrokes for the flowers and the Feel Better Soon Sentiment from PTI's Healing Touch. Love that Glossy Accents!

Mask-erade: Heat Embossing Mask

 

I used the Beautiful Butterflies and the Plaid Builder from PTI. I created the plaid then clear embossed the butterflies. I then used Tim Holz Faded Jeans Distress Ink to blend over the top.

The sentiment is from Beautiful Butterflies and the small pink butterfly is from Flower Favorites.

Make It Monday: Fussy Cutting Tips

I'm grateful to Ashley for this video as I have lots of large words I would love to have a die cut for but of course don't. This sentiment is from Think Big Favorites #3. I love these large words and am happy to bring them out in a different way. The flowers and butterfly are from Flower Favorites and the checks are from the PTI On The Farm. 

 

Make it Monday Challenge: Using Gelatos with Stamps

I had to buy Gelatos for this one which I've been wanting to do and when I saw hoe Melissa use them this way I loved how it looked so I was convinced. I used the Daydreamer stamp set and a butterfly and bee from the new Flower Favorites.

My take was the navy stripes, the candlewick vase and the lovely flowers. I used Basic Background stripes in Enchanted Evening and Beautiful Brushstrokes for my flowers. I embossed the panel with a dotted embossing folder.  The butterfly is from the new Favorite Flower set.  I love this color combo, I think it's one of my favorites.

Make It Monday: Stamping and Mixing Patterns

Well if you even run out of pattern paper you just make you own...I knew that but don't do it often enough. Maybe from  now on I will. It  was fun.  I loved doing the Chicken Scratch and the little flowers in green were from the new Clipsters set.

Make it Monday: Doodling with Stamps

 I love this idea...and will use it often. I used the same stamp set as Ashley - the Enclosed Flower.
I taped off my card and stamped the image, did my doodling and stitch marks around the outside.  I then used the new Swoosh With Love to cut the paper. I then used Ruby Rose for the Sentiment. It was fun and does make it your own.

 

 

PTI Spring Challenge

The Challenge was to use a stamp that had never seen ink and all of my have ;-) but I haven't used this one is along while. It's from the Friendship Jar series and the sentiment is from Dawn's Glory Be set.

The PTI Challenge was to use several stamps sets to create a bouquet. I used Filled with Joy, Ruby Rose and Sending You. The Sentiment is from Ruby Rose also. It was fun pulling from several different sets and can't wait for the new mini bouquets to be released.

PTI Challenge was to create a gift tag. I used the Limitless Layers Heart  for the base and the top layer was the Limitless Layers Heart Stitches. along with the Valentines Stitches arrow.

The Love you is from Pockets and Pages by Taylored Expressions and the "to-from" is from Impression Obsessions dies.

 

 

 

PTI Anniversary Challenge

I've been with PTI for at lease 6 years and love it and look forward to every release each month. What will be new, what more can they come up with? I hope it never ends. Here is my card using Friendly Flowers and the leaves from Songbirds. Also the Friends word from Wonderful Words Friends. I'm excited for the anniversary play alongs.

So I used the Floral Flaps and layered the white over the Limeade Ice and mounted them both on a white square and then on Enchanted Evening cardstock.. The sentiment is from Keep it Simple Get Well. and the Flowers were from Flower Fusion done in felt.

For this card I used the Lock and Keys from PTI and some scalloped hearts from spellbinders. I love this look,  I think I will do it more and more in the future.

I used PTI's cross stitched apple as my focal point, it took some time but it was fun. These are one of those cards you don't want to send to just anyone...time to savor.

Well this weeks MIM lends itself to a party of some sort. I used Phrase Play #12 Party. I also used the Birthday Style streamers and the same Shaker Shapes that Betsy used (love her style). The yellow brads were from my stash (so glad I bought all those when they were more popular!
