I too used the Leaf Prints from PTI and the background from Text & Texture Leaves. I didn't 

have  copper embossing powder so I used gold, gold glitter and bronze on Kraft paper. I cut the Gratitude our of copper paper.

Make It Monday: Petite Pattern Play

What a cute Idea from Michelle Leone, I used the bow from Pitter Patterns and the onsie from Bitty Baby Blessings. The sentiment is also from Bitty Baby Blessings

2nd day of the Watercolor Class, Hand drawing animals. I'm not a watercolor artist and not a sketch artist so this is very foreign to me and very crude. But the effort was made and here are the results.

The Watercolor class was a fun way to use my distress inks.

I used Bitty Bouquets and The Thanks from Bold Borders: Diagonal. The background was by

MIM- Creating Shadow Backgrounds:

I used Vintage Linens along with Peonies on Parade for the flowers and leaves in the background done in Stormy Sea ink as suggested. then cut out flowers and leaves from both and colored them with Copics.  The sentiment is from Penned Elegance.

For my card I used the new Noted Pinked A2 Vertical die. Flowers from Forest Floor: Summer and Botanical Bounty and the checks from On the Farm all by PTI. I love checks anyway so this was right up my alley.

Lizzie's Make it Monday showed us how to stencil the border to draw you eye in to the center focal point.  I started by stenciling the border with the snowflake stencil from Post and Parcel.  Then used the Chicken Scratch Gingham with the Mix and Mat snowflake center die. Obviously neither of these represent winter or look like snowflakes but they seem to work. The Sentiment is from the Big Basics. The butterfly is the new small butterfly in Butterfly Blooms. I used miscellaneous flowers.

Today's Make it Monday was framing sentiments or images. I chose PTI's Quoted: The Most and used flowers from Give Love.

Today's challenge was to create a card using stripes. I created my own stripes with copics and used the Stemmed Statements stamps set.

Today's challenge was to pick a color scheme and make a card.  I chose Laurie's recipe with bright colors.

The Challenge today was to create a card with no stamps. I used PTI's Block Alpha Upper Case and rearranged the letters to spell Happy Birthday. the checks are washi tape.

The challenge was to imitate one of the designers cards with your own stash of flowers. Of course I chose Betsy and I always love her colors and designs. However, I realized she must have drawn the "Ball" on the jar as we  don't have that stamp. I did the best I could and it turned out ok. I used the flowers from Stemmed Statements, the Friendship pint jar and a Gathered Garden stem. The sentiment is from Ways to Say Thinking of You. I'm so excited about the Anniversary release - it looks darling!!!

From Laurie's blog I chose the sunburst and the birds but I used different birds and flowers. I chose the Brushed Birds with the Farmers Market Flowers and the banner from Fiesta Flag Birthday. I do like this design a lot.

Throwback Thursday

I love using some of my old stash like the Delicate Details and the Tulip Time. I'm ready for some tulips already and it's only February!
